Between design and wine
The new Design Hotel Panorama in Kaltern/Caldaro
Since spring 2013, guests in Kaltern/Caldaro can experience a whole new lifestyle. The new 4-star Design Hotel Panorama, inspired by the Kaltern/Caldaro wine culture, has become the meet-up venue for art aficionados and wine connoisseurs, for lovers of good food and of life.
The traditional pergola trellises in Kaltern/Caldaro, the colours and forms of the surrounding area and the breathtaking views were the inspiration for the innovative design of the Hotel Panorama. With its clear, unobtrusive lines, each individual element is reflected in the hotel building to create an innovative new ambience with an added joy-in-life bonus.
We are proud to announce that we have received another award for our design concept. Our recently renovated smallest bedroom in the design hotel the Double Room South, received the Most Beautiful Bedroom aware for Architectural platform HOUZZ in the Interior Design section!
2013 Leaf Award
In October 2013, we were nominated for the international Interior Design Award in Berlin for the “Hospitality Building of the Year Award” category. India, Jordan, London and New York were also amongst the finalists.
SLEEP - European Hotel Design Award
The award was established 15 years ago and is considered to be the most important award for design and architecture in the hotel industry. In November 2013, our hotel project was nominated for the prize alongside Norman Foster and Marcel Wanders. From among the hundreds of participants, we made it to the shortlist along with four other hotels. The award ceremony took place in the Park Plaza Hotel in London.
Wine is a way of life
Wine can be more than simply an accompaniment to a good meal.
Wine unites. No other drink loosens the tongue quite so much. All it takes is a few glasses, and strangers become friends. Wine is an attitude to life.
Sip a light, chilled glass of Lake Kaltern/Caldaro wine on a balmy summer’s evening and you’ll see what we mean…
Wine has style. Centuries of wine cultivation have reached an apex of striking colours, forms and materials. And this is exactly what is reflected in the design of our hotel, a red seam that ties it all together. Or white if you prefer.
